Satellite Broadcast - Frequency Downlinks

Once processing at the NCC is complete, the final data products are passed to the Land Earth Stations for uplink to the communications satellite for broadcast to the user.

Veripos Standard service is broadcast from the L-band communication satellites at two different power levels; High-Power and Low-Power. The footprint coverage of each these satellites ensure global coverage for the Veripos Standard service.

The level of signal radiated by High-Power, means that reliable reception can be attained through the use of a small and compact omni-directional antenna. The Low-Power signal requires use of a larger stabilized antenna such as that used by the vessel’s Inmarsat communication terminal.
