Verify DPx is a visualisation software package tailored for the Dynamic Positioning (DP) user. It is designed for use with VERIPOS LD3 hardware and operates on an external touch-screen panel PC.

Graphic displays are simple and informative, with an at-a-glance traffic light status system. Users have quick access to positioning status information, along with warnings and alarms, which can be used to troubleshoot problems. Different screens are used to display information, which can be used in ‘static’ or ‘scroll’ mode. This allows information to be displayed without over complicating the screen layout.

Verify DPx provides configuration control over the LD3 hardware, so reference stations or satellite beams can be selected or de-selected. The software also features a 48-hour continuous rolling log which automatically records all raw data. This can then be used by VERIPOS support engineers to analyse any positioning issues.

Positional computations are carried out onboard the LD3 hardware which outputs the position directly to the DP system. This ensures the DP position feed remains independent from the panel PC, providing a robust solution.
